Welcome to the boards Stryker!!!

Great suggestions

I have another suggestion for Ian N., he's currently staring in the Sam Raimi produced (Xena/Legend of the Seeker/ Spiderman) show Spartacus: Blood and Sand, His name is Andy Whitfield.

He has the suave debonair thing going on with the peircing grey eyes that Ian needs.

If you want to see what he looks like with long Ian Nottinghamisque hair and shirtless here's the trailer to his new show Spartacus: BS: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zc6wwPrVTgM

I voted for Jason Issac for Kenneth Irons (hands down the best choice - IMHO).

I will have to agree with Jaymes that Andy Whitfield as being a good candidate for Ian.

As for Sara Pezzini, I chose Olivia Wilde

I don't know if this has been said yet, but Serinda Swan would be excellen as Sarat. From what I've seen of her, she's a decent actress, not mind blowing, but good. She did pull off a convincing Zatanna.

On top of that, she's absolutely beautiful.

Too thin. But she was a good Zatanna.

She's got a Magdalena look to her, but I also see Sara in her too.

See what I mean? She's got the sexy look of Sara, but can do The Magdalena as well.

Yeah, I don't get any "she's too young" comments regarding actresses to play Sara. Surely a Witchblade film will start at the beginning when she first acquires the Witchblade, and therefore Sara will be in her mid 20s.

My first choice for Sara, ever since seeing Cloverfield, is Odette Yustman. Some have said she's too thin, but it's a movie and actors change their looks for movies all the time. She will simply have to bulk up for the film, put on a bit of muscle, but not too much; Sara's fit, but not a body-building freak. However, someone mentioned Amanda Righetti from the Metalist, and she is growing on me as a potential Sara.

Nottingham is possibly the hardest to cast. I like Collin Farrell as an actor, already European but not English and already played Bullseye. Hugh Jackman didn't work as Wolverine for me, as much as I like his acting in general. Plus he's also already played a comicbook character. Nottingham HAS to be clean shaven with very long hair, not like the TV show. Scott Elrod definitely has the looks. Still, I'd be pushing for an English actor so the accent isn't fake, but nobody really comes to mind. At least six months of intense martial arts training will be required with a heavy focus on swordsmanship. Nottingham needs to be a believable threat.

I was thinking of Julian Mcmahon for Irons. I really think he'd suit the role, but he's played a comicbook villain in Fantastic 4 and so the role would be too close to that. I hate type casting. My other thought, cause I like him as an actor, is Josh Brolin. Silver hair and an earring, he could do it.

The movie would benefit from a big name in at least one role. That doesn't meant we sacrifice talent since plenty of big-name actors can act, but without a big-name actor/actress this thing COULD flop. Witchblade isn't all that well known. Plus investor will invest more if it includes a big-name, making the overall quality better. Don't know what role or who to play this big-name, but just a though for those who knocked big-names.

That's why I think Andy Whitfield is perfect he has the presence needed and the piercing gray eyes as well as the warior backround for his role as Spartacus.

As far as Sara and Kenneth go I think Odette Yustman could work but she would need to add a boat load of weight not really muscle even just weight she and she seems a bit naturally thin to gain a lot of weight maybe ten to fifteen pounds at least.

Kenneth would probably be more suitable as a more established name as you said so people will invest in the movie that being said I recently started considering Lambert Wilson as a good candidate.

Top Cow since you have a professional relationship with Jessica Beil and Bradley Copper why not just ask them to be Sara and Jake? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

I'd like to to see Jessica Beil as Sara. Bradley Cooper would be great as well. I love Bradley Cooper in the A-Team.

Agreed. Wouldn't mind either at all really. I hear Jessica wanted to her admission a "different" and "less mainstream hero" with a "good storyline" then Witchblade would be a great fit right?
